Can I participate in ranch camp roundup?
Everyone is welcome to participate in the Ranch Camp Roundup! We are excited to see everyone from current families to camp alumni, and folks brand new to Ranch Camp. All participants should be comfortable walking or running 5 or 10 kilometers (approximately 3.1 or 6.2 miles) on uneven terrain and trails.
All minors participating in this event must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Campers enrolled in Session 2 at the same time as Ranch Camp Roundup may participate with prior written permission from a parent or guardian.
Will there be aid stations and medical assistance available?
We take the safety and comfort of all of our participants seriously. Water stations and support staff will be positioned throughout the race course. Additional first aid and support materials will be available at the start and finish line. Additionally, our camp clinic staff will be available and able to help participants at all locations on the race course.
Are any other camp activities happening during the race?
After the race, everyone will have the chance to tie-dye their Ranch Camp Roundup shirts and design their wood-cookie race medals at our crafting station. We will also have the opportunity to take a tour of camp before the race, some camp games at the start / finish line, and a celebration for all finishers!
What is sliding scale pricing?
Registration for this event is offered with sliding scale pricing at $30, $35, or $40. The sliding-scale pricing model allows JCC Denver to offer programming that is accessible to anyone regardless of their access to wealth. Everyone deserves to be able to participate!
Participants are asked to be honest in evaluating their own circumstances and self-selecting the pricing tier that is right for them. In short, you should select a pricing tier based on the simplified criteria below.
Tier 1: If you stress about basic needs, but rarely miss them.
Tier 2: You are not worried about basic needs and have some expendable income.
Tier 3: You maintain a high standard of living and have access to expendable income.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?
If you have to cancel your registration for this event for any reason before May 28th, 2026, we will provide a full refund of your registration costs. If you have to cancel your registration on or after May 28th, 2026, we will not be able to provide refund.
If for any reason JCC Ranch Camp or JCC Denver has to cancel this event, we will provide a refund of registration costs to all participants.

- What if it rains on race day? We will continue to race rain or shine. We may delay or postpone in the case of extreme weather or thunderstorms.
- Where can I find results and photos? The race results and all photos will be shared with participants by email after the event.
- Are pets allowed on the course or at camp? No, pets are not allowed at this event.
- What is your refund policy? All registrations for this event are final.
- Can I register on the day of the race? No, all participants must register in advance for this event. This allows us to create the best experience for everyone joining us.
- Can I walk the race course? Yes! All walkers and runners are welcome to participate.
- What is parking like? Parking is available at camp for all participants.
