Staff In Training

Staff and Wrangler

Overview

Chalutzim (hall-ootseem), or “Pioneers” are our youngest full-session campers. Whether it’s their first or second time at camp, Chalutzim campers get to fully immerse themselves in the fun and excitement of Ranch Camp over 14 or 19 days. With opportunities to visit most of program areas multiple times, they’ll build new skills—like building their horsemanship skills, completing a multi-day art project, or scaling the climbing wall—while making lifelong friends along the way. Campers will also get to experience an introductory campout right in the heart of camp, enjoying all the comforts of camp (like bathrooms!) while roasting s’mores, telling stories, and soaking up the magic of the outdoors. A core part of the Chalutzim experience is learning the values of Kavod V’Chesed (Kindness and Respect), which are woven into daily activities, cabin life, and all their adventures.
